Following the death of the late High-King (long-believed to be immortal), the land of Kaas has been plunged into chaos. Aristocrats have taken up arms against each other in a chaotic bid to claim more power whilst the weakened kings battle for supremacy and the right to be crowned as the new High-King of Kaas.
To the North, the dwarves (or Bobl Bach in their own tongue) have launched an offensive against the oppressive human lords that rule it, whilst at the same time deflecting an assault on their cities by the barbarians whom have united to conquer the North once-and-for-all.
To the East, the Dapt-tut-Jerr unite under the command of their Sultan and prepare to claim vengeance for the lives lost in the Long Crusade that saw the death of many Jerr peoples.
And finally, to the far South, the city-state of Palazzo has bought out many mercenary companies to battle the threat coming from both the East and the North.
